I’m not the biggest fan of Delta’s Sky Miles program for one simple reason: They charge a crazy amount of points when you want to redeem for award travel. Not always, but a lot of the time! What’s crazy? How about 157,000 miles needed for roundtrip business class between LAX and Kona, Hawaii this month. Or how about 80,000 miles for a business class ticket to New York from LAX roundtrip. 80,000 miles is a ton to spend for a flight under 6 hours (in my opinion,) especially when you consider you can generally find availability to Europe in business class for around 100,000 points on partner airlines like Air France. That being said, here’s your last chance to score some serious bonus Delta points on transfers. From Delta’s website: “Bring your friends and family with you on your next vacation.
